General Information

Knowing how hectic wedding planning can be, we were inspired to create a business that allows couples to make one appointment, and work with one single business that weaves three main services together. This concept encourages better communication of what is desired ,and a more united, flawless theme for the entire wedding. By using only one vendor for three services, we make your day as effortless as possible. We take great care to make your dream day a reality.

We would like to provide you with a guideline for each service provided by Fruits of Labor, Inc. A $50 nonrefundable deposit per each service is required to book a wedding with Fruits of Labor, Inc. Therefore, if you need all three services (Catering, Floral design, and Bridal and/or Groom’s Cake) a $150 deposit is required at the time of reservation, $100 for only 2 services, and $50 for only one service. This deposit will be applied toward your total purchase.

Fifty percent of the total bill is required to be paid 30 days prior to the wedding, and the remainder to be paid on the Wedding day. Should you need to cancel the wedding after making your first payment, the first payment will be nonrefundable. Though we suggest booking any vendor as far ahead of time as possible to ensure your date is available, should you book your wedding with us less than 30 days before your wedding date, we request fifty percent of the total cost which is nonrefundable at the time of reservation of our services.

Fruits of Labor, Inc. accepts payments by check or cash only. Checks should be made out to: Fruits of Labor, Inc. Should a check be returned, there will be a $25 charge.

Most weddings will have items that will need to be returned to our company. We charge a very nominal fee for use of our specialized equipment such as cake stands, serving dishes (if needed), and any floral items supplied by our company. A list will be provided to explain which items need to be returned. We expect our supplies to be returned in a clean, undamaged condition. Should a piece be missing or damaged, you will be charged the replacement cost. We also request all supplies be returned within three days after the wedding, as we will need them for the next wedding. If they are not returned then an additional fee will be charged. A signed agreement will be provided for all services at the time of the first payment. We will try to always inform you if any changes made after the initial estimate raises or lowers your final bill.

Our beautiful Percheron mare "Miss Blackberry" has had initial training by an Amish farmer in Ohio. We hope that at some point we will be able to offer a carriage service as another addition to our efforts in giving you the most beautiful wedding you can imagine. We are trying to assess the interest that brides in our area may have for carriage service.
