As I watched them both crying from happiness as they took their vows, united their families, and baptized their infant twins, I knew that you and I had been part of a greater plan and I truly believe God smiled on that family that day. Tammy (Jordan) Robertson has been a friend of my family for as long as I can remember. I have always admired her in many ways. Four years ago when Tammy married her husband, Jared, it was a fairytale wedding that every girl dreams of. I was so surprised to find out that Tammy had done everything, from the flowers and decorations to the catering and cake. I couldn’t believe that she had taken care of everything and still have time to look so beautiful (she did her own hair and make-up too).

When I got engaged to my now husband in May 2002, I felt so overwhelmed with the idea of planning a wedding. I had a lot of ideas of how I wanted things to look, but really didn’t know where to start. I called Tammy. She came to my house, armed with great ideas and research about flowers, cakes, etc. We were able to get a direction for how the wedding would be. After that night I felt at ease and knew that it would be beautiful. Tammy’s help allowed me to relax and enjoy planning my wedding instead of panicking about all the small details.

Tammy helped every step of the way. She helped create the menu for the reception, find the style of flowers and decorations, and choose cakes. She took the idea of my fantasy wedding and made it a reality.

On the day of the wedding she and her mother decorated the entire sanctuary of our church and our reception site. Although we had discussed the decorations I never imagined it would turn out so beautifully. I went to have my hair and nails done, and when I came back I walked into a dream. The entire sanctuary took on a romantic feel that I never imagined it could. The reception site, which was the church fellowship hall, was transformed from a typical banquet hall to a wistful room draped in tulle and white lights. There were hundreds of tiny details that added to the ambiance of the church and fellowship hall, which she added just to make it more special for us.

Looking back on my wedding, it was all I ever dreamed of and more. Tammy took her talent and ideas, combined them with my vision for the wedding to make our wedding day beautiful, romantic, and personal. I would not hesitate to recommend Tammy.
